This is a quick and simple tutorial on creating a Japanese PlayStation / PSN account for free. The whole process would take around 5 minutes!
Prerequisites
- An unused email address that is not connected to any existing PlayStation account.
- Any computer, mobile device, or Play Station console with an internet connection.
- Any internet browser. We recommend using Safari or Google Chrome.
Instructions
Step 1. Go to this link and click on the "Sign In" button on the top right of your screen.
Step 2. Click on "Create New Account".
Step 3. Click "Start".
Step 4. For the country option, select "Japan" and your menu should automatically change to Japanese. Follow the guide below and fill in your birth date, and then click on the blue button.
Step 5. Follow the guide below and fill in your email address and password, and then click on the blue button.
Step 6. For the postcode enter: "1120004" and then click on the button next to it. The 2nd and 3rd text box should be automatically filled in. Afterward, click on the blue button.
Step 7. Follow the guide below and fill in your display name, and your real-life name, and then click on the blue button.
Step 8. Uncheck the 2 options to unsubscribe from newsletters.
Step 9. Click on "OK" and you should be redirected to the sign-in page. Login with the details you created just above.
Step 10. You would be promoted to verify your email address. Verify your email from your email inbox and then click on "Already Verified". That's it, you're done! Congratulations on creating your free Japanese PSN account.
